Not your Mama's Brussel Sprouts

I took a note from my Roasted Cauliflower recipe, and threw in some garlic cloves with these. Once again, feel free to substitute any seasoning or fresh herbs you have around the house.
1 1/2 lbs brussel sprouts
6-8 cloves garlic
3 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
additional kosher salt to taste
Trim the ends from the brussels and peel off any yellow or old leaves. Toss in a baking dish with garlic, oil, and spices. Place into a 400 degree oven, and roast for 25-30 minutes, stirring often. Once brussels are nicely roasted, remove from the oven and serve!

And can I mention how much I love brussel sprouts? Even the frozen ones in nuclear butter sauce, or plainly boiled, or the next day- cold, with salt? I think I'll soon add "roasted" to the list.
mmmm...I LOVE brussel sprouts, but my husband hates them. I think I'll have to try them this way and see if it changes his mind!
ooh...learned something the hard way. even if you love brussel sprouts, BURNT brussel sprouts are downright nasty. Almost the devil's spawn. I knew I should have listened to you and stirred them frequently. :)
The sprouts look great. I love roasting almost any veg.
happy thanksgiving! i have made these a few times, and each time forget about the garlic :(

Ooh, I'll have to try these! My husband doesn't like brussel sprouts, he pretty much hates everything cabbage-like, but I'll try and convince him :)
